Adam's Angels

This weekend our family got to participate in a walk for children and their families dealing with cancer. This walk is put on by a group called Adam's Angels. This family knows first hand what it is like to be one of those families. A family literally dealing with life and death. This family lost their son. They took the ultimate tragedy and have decided to help other families.

If you have never dealt with a kid in the hospital you may not realize how flat out terrifying it is. Not only are you dealing with medical lingo, trying to keep your child from being scared, relaying messages to friends and family, trying not to yell at God, but a big one is the cost. It cost money...plain and simple. This is where Adam's Angels comes in. The help families with the costs so they can focus on their child, not finances. Here is the website if you want to know more or donate.

P.S. We are not visible in the above picture. We were in the back. We had the kids and stroller which means we take up a lot of room. Especially since my kids want to hold hands, take water breaks, throw off their shoes...
