I love that my children watch this and don't understand. They don't understand why you couldn't sit next to someone because their skin color was different than theirs. They don't understand why people threw food at a 1st grade girl who was trying to go to school with white kids. They don't understand that they couldn't play with someone at McDonald's because their skin color was different.

I am thankful that this man listened to God and made these injustices known. I think that the reaction of a child is usually the reaction we should all have. When my big boys heard this video Colin grabbed my hand and nestled up against me saying it made him sad. Clay got all indignant and kept saying "oh that is so wrong!".

They are both right.
